Dr. Michael Langley (Osteopath) brings a unique blend of experience and compassion to his osteopathic consultations.
Michael's journey to become an Osteopath began as an army medic where he witnessed the devastating impact of injuries firsthand. He honed his skills in trauma care and emergency medicine through studies in paramedicine and nursing, and developed a deep understanding of the human body's resilience and the importance of patient-centred care.
Michael has also participated in humanitarian aid work and in supporting refugees. This instilled in him a unique blend of experience and compassion. These experiences combined with seeking care and management for his own injuries has led Michael to discover Osteopathy.
Adopting a universal approach to health care resonated deeply with his desire to treat the whole person, and not just the symptoms. Michael completed his Osteopathic studies, earning a Bachelor of Clinical Science and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Langley's approach utilises various techniques such as dry needling, mobilisation, manipulations, clinical pilates and cupping to address the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction. He believes in empowering patients through education and active participation in their recovery journey and by guiding them towards optimal health and well-being.
